Reducing anxiety and paranoia from cannabis THC use

limonene from cannabis

A new study funded by the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) has found one terpene reduces anxiety/ nervousness/ paranoia.

This information may not be new for people who are studying Cannabis Psychedelics as a facilitator, though the data from this study just goes to confirm what the experts have been teaching about the benefits of certain cannabinoids, terpenes, flavonoids, esthers, volatile sulfur compounds and more.

This study showed that concurrent administration of 30 mg THC+15 mg D-limonene significantly reduced ratings of ‘anxious/nervous’ and ‘paranoid’ compared with 30 mg THC alone.

Other studies have found that cannabis products with a more diverse array of natural cannabinoids produced stronger psychoactive experiences.

“Cannabis has been misused for too long” says Cannabis Psychedelics course founder Paul Benhaim, “which is why we share a science based, safe and respectful use of cannabis in our protocol.
